The Syrian National Coalition and recycling

The data on the ground continue which reinforces the idea that there is no opposition political force capable of realizing the hopes and aspirations of the Syrian people. Undoubtedly, these data push the West to search and study the appropriate ingredients to find alternative plans and bodies that are able to represent the will of the Syrian opposition peoples, which wore the guise of political Islam that failed and deviated from the path it was following due to the complete submission of Turkey and Qatar, the main sponsors of the opposition which are trying to contain it and try to recycle it in a way acceptable to the West.
The document that was leaked earlier about changing the Syrian National Coalition (SNC) from the strategy it follows in Syria prompted the formation of a formula about the possibility of changing the SNC’s path it was taking, which was centered around the overthrow of the regime. These changes were accompanied by a change in the orientation of the SNC when it condemned the Israeli air strike against Latakia port. Of course, such a sudden change in the orientation of the Muslim Brotherhood, where the opposition is a part of, through courtship with the Iranian current inside Syria means the closure of the doors in front of the SNC.
On the other hand, the meeting held by prominent Turkish government officials with Salem Al-Maslat, head of the SNC, came to show the extent of the fracture that has affected the SNC and the division it suffers from where some accept negotiations and others reject. This division led to a significant impact on the opposition Interim Government and the failure of the institutions that run it in the occupied areas of northern Syria.
In confirmation of the extent of the division that began to appear within the ranks of the SNC, the statements made by its figures regarding the initiative put forward by the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, regarding the “Step by Step” initiative, showed a clear heterogeneity in the ranks of the coalition. Not to mention, the attempts of some personalities to emphasize the desire to continue with regard to the Constitutional Committee, despite the harsh statements by the Russian side in clinging to some red lines, which the SNC saw them as requirements to ensure the progress of negotiations with the Syrian regime.
As a result of the anger shown by the West over the confusion that the Syrian opposition is suffering from, including the SNC at the present time, the Western threat regarding the creation of a living alternative that could be the nucleus of an alternative opposition to the SNC and Syrian opposition has come, where some western figures discussed a formula that could be achieved, which unifying northeast Syria with northwest in light of the diplomatic openness conducted by the West in dealing with the Autonomous Administration.
In order to avoid the state of resentment in the West towards the Syrian opposition regarding its inability to influence and an attempt to save face, the meeting was organized by opposition figures and coordinated by Turkey and Qatar in Doha. One of the most prominent recommendations that resulted from the meeting was the adoption of the Russian-Turkish-Iranian discourse regarding the hot spots in Syria, especially in northeastern Syria and also an attempt to please the US, Britain and France by emphasizing the role of the Syrian opposition in implementing Resolution 2254.
