Mr. Akram Hesso thanked the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies at the beginning of his speech for organizing this forum and emphasized the importance of addressing this sensitive issue.

Mr. Akram spoke about the reasons for migration, including economic and security factors, and stressed that the Autonomous Administration, through the security forces, is maintaining security and stability in the region. He called on the Autonomous Administration to work harder to improve the economic situation. Mr. Akram also spoke about the forced migration carried out by the hostile countries to the Autonomous Administration, aiming to undermine the project of the Autonomous Administration and to empty the area of its original inhabitants.

Ms. Dejla Tirbespiye emphasized that this homeland was built on the blood of martyrs and affirmed that the people will protect the values and achievements that were achieved through the blood of the martyrs. She stated that the people will not become slaves and will live with security, and that the enemies are trying to displace our people and empty the region. She also expressed confidence in the people who will protect the achievements that were achieved through the blood of the martyrs.

Mother Suad, the mother of the martyr Hevrin Khalaf, stated that we will make our voice heard to the world that we will not leave our land, and that the migration taking place in the northern and eastern regions of Syria has been happening for hundreds of years due to the occupation of our homeland.

She pointed out that we sacrificed 12,000 martyrs to block this forced migration. She also emphasized the clinging to the land by saying, “We will not become slaves and we will not live without fuel, water, electricity and children, and we will not live without dignity.”

Sabah Shabou spoke about the massacres committed against the Assyrians and affirmed that these massacres were repeated in 2015 by the terrorist organizations and mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish occupation state, which scattered and displaced our people from many areas. She emphasized the issue of staying in the homeland, the clinging to the land, and not leaving the homeland to the enemies.
