The Forum opening speech

The Lausanne Forum kicks off by a speech of Mr. Rakan Sheikhi, the Director of the Rojava Centre for Strategic Studies, he welcomed the participants then spoke briefy about the history of the World War to date. He spoke about the implications of the Lausanne Agreement on Kurds and Kurdistan, and highlighted the suffering of them for a century as a result of the policies pursued by the Kurdistan geographical states, which had tried so hard to blur Kurdish people’s identity and abolish its existen.
