Many speeches were delivered during the forum:<\/p>\n

The Autunomus Administration\u2019s speech<\/strong><\/p>\n

The speech was delivered by the co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, Ms. Avin Sweid, in which she spoke about the central regime that practiced a policy of silencing mouths and suppressing freedoms, and all the policies practiced by the former regime against the Syrian people. She also spoke about the experience of the Autonomous Administration, which is considered the first experience in Syria, and whose components began to manage themselves away from the regime for years by uniting and protecting themselves and their land. She also spoke about Syria after the fall of Assad and the crises that the country is experiencing, and she also touched on the neglect of the Damascus government to participate with the components of the Syrian people.<\/p>\n

\n

Speech of the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, General Mazloum Abdi<\/strong><\/p>\n

General Mazloum Abdi spoke during this forum and hoped that this forum would open the way for Syrians to express their opinions about the future of their country. He stressed that this stage \u00a0from Syria\u2019s history will not be repeated and that we must work to make it a success. then \u00a0he spoke about the tragedies that the Syrian people suffered at the hands of the defunct regime, its monopoly of power and its destruction of political life, and that this was the reason for the collapse of the regime, and that we must benefit from this experience.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that there is marginalization of the Syrian components by the transitional government and the political process, therefore; all components must be involved in the political process and writing the constitution.<\/p>\n

He stressed the continuation of negotiations with the new government and that they agree on the unity of Syrian territory, but there are other important priorities such as the presence of the Turkish occupation on Syrian territory.<\/p>\n

The general called on the transitional government to pressure armed groups to stop attacks on areas in northern and eastern Syria.<\/p>\n

Speech by Dr. Sheikh Murshid Al-Khaznawi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al-Khaznawi spoke about the Syrian situation in general, and indicated that the new government must respect the Syrian people. He also called for a secular, democratic, decentralized system, and stressed that this system does not conflict with religion. He spoke about the Kurdish issue and stressed the necessity of resolving this issue.<\/p>\n

Speech by Mr. Nouri Mahmoud, spokesman for the People’s Protection Units<\/strong><\/p>\n

He talked about the Syrian situation after the fall of the Assad regime, and the new authority\u2019s monopolization of power and its failure to involve the components of the Syrian people in the political decision. He also talked about the People\u2019s Protection Units and their establishment on revolutionary national foundations.<\/p>\n

Women’s Protection Units speech delivered by Destina Kobani<\/strong><\/p>\n
