The Rojava Center for Strategic Studies is an independent, non-profit, political, intellectual institution; it was established based on contemporary historical and strategic necessities.

Through its work, productions, and writings, it seeks to contribute to positively influencing the course of historical developments witnessed by the political geography of Kurdish societies in general, and Rojava and Syria in particular, by presenting and proposing various topics, proposals, analyses, studies, surveys, and ideas, and holding international and local seminars, and strategic meetings between political and intellectual elites in the Middle East and the world, with the aim of reaching the building of a democratic Kurdish and Middle Eastern society based on the values ​​of justice and equality, through the approach of the “democratic nation” that calls for respecting the specificities of all societies, nationalities, religions, and sects, and not discriminating between people on the basis of gender, respecting women, and calling for full participation in rights and duties. The center also believes in and works to preserve the environment and human and ecological history by spreading an environmental culture that aims to preserve the cultural heritage of all human societies.
