02.03.2018 – Village of Kakhra, Mabata, bombarded

5 wounded and one killed a result of the targeting of aircraft and artillery of the Turkish occupation army on the village of Kakhra in the area of Mabata.

Despite the UN Security Council resolution 2401, issued to stop the fire in Syria in general, Turkish occupation army is still bombing villages full of civilians in Afrin with the intention of displacing them from their homes and trying to increase pressure on the center of the city of Afrin that is oversized with housing in the crisis made by the Turkish occupation army and its allies.

On Friday at night as every night Turkish occupation army bombarded the villages and areas of Afrin with all means of military war, this time targeted the safe village of Kakhra in the area of Mabata, the village of Kakhra is now double inhabited by the its indigenous people because of the displacement from the villages and areas of Afrin. Despite the knowing of the Turkish occupation army that the village is inhabited by civilians, it targeted it on Friday at 3:00 am by scouting aircraft, causing the injury of 5 civilians and the killing of one civilian.

The names of the injured and dead following the targeting of the Turkish occupation army on the village of Kakhra:

  • Ahmed Mohammed Sulaiman, 52 years old, was wounded from the village of Kakhra in the area of Mabata, who was wounded in the stomach as a result of the targeting of Turkish scouting planes and artillery.
  • Reiber Hanan Emo, 45 years old, “injured”, from the village of Kakhra in the area of Mabata who was injured in the leg and head after the targeting of aircraft and Turkish artillery on the village.
  • Mahmoud Abdo Emo, 46 years old, “injured”, from the village of Kakhra in the area of Mabata who was injured after the targeting of Turkish aircraft and artillery on the village.
  • Ahmed Jamil Qassem, 39 years old, “injured”, from the village of Kakhra in the area of Mabata who was injured in the leg after the targeting of scouting planes and Turkish artillery on the village.
  • Jamil Mohammed Waqqas, 46 years old, from the village of Kakhra, in the area of Mabata, which was hit by the targeting of Turkish scouting planes and artillery.
  • Jwan Sadiq Ezzat, 30 years old, was killed in the village of Kakhra, in the area of Mabata, who was injured in the head after the targeting of Turkish aircrafts and died in Afrin hospital after he was rescued for hours.
